AeroShell Compound 7

AeroShell Compound 07 is a de-icing fluid composed of ethylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and distilled water, providing effective ice removal and protection for aircraft surfaces in cold weather conditions.

Applications

AeroShell Compound 07 is used for in-flight de-icing of windscreens, propellers, wings, tailplanes, etc. on suitably equipped aircraft.

AeroShell Compound 07 is also recommended for removing hoar frost and light snow/ice from parked aircraft. This product can be sprayed undiluted or mixed with up to 50% volume of water, depending upon the severity of the icing conditions, the efficiency of the spraying technique and whether it is applied hot or cold.

  • This product is unlikely to present any significant health or safety hazard when properly used in the recommended application and good standards of personal hygiene are maintained.
  • Avoid contact with skin. Use impervious gloves with used oil. After skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water.

Protect the Environment

  • Take used oil to an authorised collection point. Do not discharge into drains, soil or water.
